Not too bad, Matthew McConaughey’s character is a bit cheesy but pretty enjoyable in his consistent sleaziness. The plot moves along pretty well and there’s enough at the end to keep the viewer satisfied they didn’t just waste two hours of their lives.

Well there were tons of well known actors in this, and I guess it’s pretty ok for a big budget hollywood thriller. I liked that they weren’t afraid to kill off big stars early on, and Jude Laws character was at least an interesting spin on the doomsday scenario. Overall kinda bland and predictable though, would not watch again

Gorgeous sets and a pretty enjoyable, albeit predictable, plot line. Maybe predictable is too harsh, but I felt that the Shakespearean theme would lead to the death of all the family members except the Emperor, and that is indeed what happened.

This was pretty decent, although the motivations of the main character are a bit ambiguous. By that I mean it’s not too clear why he left Arthur in the first place, or why he waited until the end to kill him.

Overall very stylish and well shot with a good score from Nick Cave, who also wrote this.

Great action movie with a pretty sweet cast. I really enjoy the pace of 70s action and this one does not disappoint. I have yet to see Drive, but as far as I understand there are a lot of similarities between the two movies.

Being a fan of the book and of David Lynch it was only a matter of time before I finally watched this. I liked this movie for what it was, not what it could have been. Weirdo sci-fi Lynch style with awesome sets, costumes, and Sting.
